About Me

“Having competed at a high level in competitive sport throughout my youth, I generated a keen interest in not only competing in sport, but also in discovering how the body works and how we can improve performance. This prompted me to embark on a career within the fitness industry and I have never looked back!

Having worked for a series of professional Football and Rugby clubs, my passion for fitness is ever expanding and I am constantly researching new schools of thought, as well revisiting old ones… which are sometimes the best! My main interest is improving athletic performance which led me to undertake an MSc in Strength & Conditioning at Middlesex University. This enabled me to gain an in-depth understanding of not only how to improve; strength, power, speed and endurance within athletes, but also allowed me to fully appreciate how the human movement system interacts, and how this relates to performance and injury prevention. I am also passionate about working with a large range of private personal training clients in achieving a diverse list of personal goals.

Succeeding in the fitness industry requires a great deal of passion, desire to learn, and most of all hard work! If you posses these qualities and have a genuine enthusiasm for fitness and improving the quality of other people’s health, a career in the fitness industry is a great way to combine career with passion.”
